This ezine is being created by Ailelie. This ezine is being created for anyone else who is tired of not being able to find good genre short stories, poems, and articles about queer women.  Every issue of Plunge will feature queer women in a variety of genres and situations. Each issue will have its own theme (fairy tales, space colonies, thieves, pirate ships, under the sea, saloons, mannerpunk, mad scientists, etc) through which it will focus on queer women.  Issue one will launch in February 2013 on a not-yet-created official website. Issue two will come in the following August. Starting in 2014, the ezine will publish quarterly in February, May, August, and November.

I love fantasy, mysteries, and science fiction. I also love reading short stories and poems about women who happen to be queer. Finding such works, though, isn't always easy. The bookstore has a few relevant anthologies and the internet yields even more, but I have yet to find a regular source and market for such works. Plunge will provide poems, stories, and articles for consumption, but it will also create a regular market for works about queer women in genre fiction. My hope is that, if a market exists, even more works will come. Please help me find out if this is true.

Your donations and interest are the only way this ezine will happen. I have a nice day job, but I am just getting by with rent, student loans, and bills. I cannot fund this magazine on my own. I need your help to make Plunge possible.
